The 2027 season promises to be an exceptional one for roller coaster enthusiasts. Energylandia has announced the construction of ROKAN, a new wing coaster set to become the main attraction of the new themed area, VOLANA. According to the park’s announcement, it will be the tallest and longest wing coaster in Europe, as well as the first roller coaster of its kind in Poland.

ROKAN is set to offer a completely different experience from traditional roller coasters. On a wing coaster, passengers sit on either side of the track rather than directly above it. With their legs dangling freely in the air and an open space surrounding the track, riders experience an incredible sensation of flight.
ㅤ
According to the officially announced specifications, ROKAN is set to feature:
- 62 metres in height – an impressive structure that will dominate the park’s new themed area;
- 1,215 metres of track – over 1.2 km of dynamic twists and turns;
- A top speed of 115 km/h – powerful acceleration and intense thrills;
- A ride duration of approximately 141 seconds – over two minutes of exhilarating flight;
- 3 trains, each accommodating 32 passengers in 8 rows;
- A minimum height requirement of 140 cm, according to information published by the park.
ㅤ
The ride is being designed by Bolliger & Mabillard (B&M), a manufacturer renowned worldwide for its roller coaster designs.
ㅤ
The name ROKAN refers to the winged guardian of the valley, whose story is told in the film announcing the new attraction. The dragon and the theme of flight play a central role in the concept behind this exciting investment.
ROKAN is not being built as a standalone attraction. It will be the centrepiece of VOLANA, a new themed area inspired by the legend of the Valley of Monoliths. According to the story, this is where a nomadic tribe found its home, while the winged guardian Rokan watched over the valley.
